The project proposal revolves around the following premises:
- the buildings on Via Cecchi and Via Cigna shall not be volumetrically modified (they shall be restored and refunctionalized, instead) so as to maintain the visual relationship between the street and the inner court, thus maintaining the present peculiar volumetric composition.
- the inner court shall become the project’s fulcrum. Not simply an open-air space but a functional and social area, for the users and the neighbours too. The court shall be completely freed so as to become an inside park able to host temporary pavilions:therefore a flexible space or a sort of scenic square.
